Pathways to Healing: Overcoming Childhood Trauma and Adult Pain of Sibling Estrangement.

What were you unprepared to fight?

Unfortunately, those who we thought would be our go-to people can sometimes pretend to have our backs, and in reality, you find out that they have held resentment and jealousy in their hearts towards you as if they were your enemies.

It’s a shock to find out this revelation. For anyone to uncover this, it can hurt and go deep into your core. Then there are others who do give us the room and grace to be our true selves, warts and all.

The key is to know the difference between these two groups of people.

1. Do you feel comfortable with these people?

2. Do they make you feel like you can be your best self?

3. Do you support one another during the ups and downs of life?

4. When you leave their presence, do you feel like a better person?

We all want to be our 100% selves, and we want our relationships to be healthy, fruitful, and empowering.

Are you a dreamer, just like Joseph in the Bible, carefree and enjoying life? Joseph’s story is well-known and highlights the power of a single dream. In one moment, his life changed. Joseph experienced the hurt of betrayal from his brothers, who sold him into slavery.

The Good Samaritan.

The story of the Good Samaritan is a key example of how when someone is in need, others, out of their selfishness, can bring extra hurt to those who don’t have the means to help themselves.

The Good Samaritan was attacked, robbed, and left by the side of the road.

A stranger who was passing by came to his aid and cared for him in every way possible, by covering the hotel bill, meals for the day, and all the medical equipment and medication that it would take to look after and bring this stranger back to health.

A collection of Poems

This is a collection of poems that I have written over several years. The poems that have been chosen depict the journey of growth and finding your identity, going through the hardships of growing up that come from life experiences.

If you have experience dealing with depression and feelings of despair. Then you will be able to know that through it all, there is also a time and place where you find the inner strength you can have, get back up, and keep moving forward.

The Soil of the Soul – What’s Growing in your Garden?

Let me introduce you to a garden that most people tend to ignore or do not care for. You only need a few requirements to take care of it. It’s a necessity for everyone, even if they’re not aware of it or don’t think it’s crucial. You can only enter a garden that is so beautiful and amazing that it’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

The garden extends in all directions. Its beauty is magnificent, and you can visit it whenever you wish.

The problem is that it can become overburdened with rubbish, old hurt, unresolved issues, and a lack of colour and growth.

There are parts of it that are tidy, but there are parts that are dirty and unkempt. It can carry an odour that can stink for a long time and can show up in how we speak and how we act.
